Bringing Burj Khalifa to life needed a combination of ambitious ideals and solid science. In the process, the project assembles an awe-inspiring number of facts, figures, and statistics.

World Records
At over 828 metres (2,716.5 feet) and also than 160 stories, Burj Khalifa grip the following records:
·        Tallest building in the world
·        Tallest free-standing construction in the world
·        Highest figure of stories in the world
·        Highest employed floor in the world
·        Highest outdoor conclusion deck in the world
·        Escalator with the longest travel area in the world
·        Tallest service escalator in the world

Tallest of the Super tall
Not only is Burj Khalifa the world’s tallest Construction, it has also cracked two other impressive records: tallest construction, previously believed by the KVLY-TV mast in Blanchard, North Dakota, and tallest free-standing construction, previously held by Toronto’s CN Tower. The Chicago-based Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) has settled 3 criteria to determine what makes a tall construction tall. Burj Khalifa wins by far in all three class.
Height to architectural top
Height is logical from the level of the minimum, powerful, open-air, pedestrian entrance to the architectural top of the building. This includes spires, but does not add antennae, signage, flagpoles or other functional-technical gadget. This amount is the most widely used and is used to decide the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat position of the Tallest constructions in the World.
Highest occupied floor
Height is measured from the level of the lowest, significant, open-air, pedestrian entrance to the highest constantly occupied floor within the building. Maintenance areas are not combined.
Height to tip
Height is consistent from the level of the lowest, important, open-air, pedestrian entrance to the highest point of the construction, irrespective of material or action of the highest element. This combine antennae, flagpoles, signage and other functional-technical apparatus.
